Pointe a Pitre, Guadeloupe on Azamara Journey Saling January 19, 2010

One of the ports of call on the Journey sailing on January 19, 2010 is Guadeloupe. It appears from many photos that its beaches are spectacular. Has anyone been to Guadeloupe? Can you provide information on best beaches, transportation and tours? Most appreciated.

I've been there a couple of times but long ago. I can confirm that there are great beaches but I can't recall names.

 

As takemewithyou suggested I checked the Caribbean ports of call board and Guadeloupe isn't listed.
