Transportation from DisneyWorld to Port Canavaral

If I'm at DisneyWorld what is the least expensive way to get me and 5 other people to the port? Should we take the shuttle back to the airport or try to go directly to the port from DisneyWorld? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

I'd be looking at renting a car. Hertz has an agency at DW and a drop off at Port Canevral.

When we went last summer we rented a car through Avis at the Hilton in Downtown Disney. They sent a shuttle to pick us up at our resort---easy, easy--the price was good too. We dropped the car off the morning of the cruise and got on the free shuttle to the port.

Hello: We did Budget rent a car at Doubletree resort on Hotel Blvd in WDW. They will then shuttle you free to the ship. A very short distance. I would suggest you drop off your luggage and other people to make it easier for them. CanadianTom

the agencies with office in Cape Canaveral or Cocoa Beach (no agency will be found IN PC)

 

from close to far - far is under 3 miles - same line means same distance

pick you up at airport, drop you off in front of ship, and return you back to airport when cruise is over. I'm sure they would pick up at Disneyworld also :)
