artvlay Posted January 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2005 Has anyone ever rented the clamshell covers here? I don't know if they are the ones that only cover your upper part of your body, or do they cover your whole body? Thanks
SHayesShip Posted January 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2005 They rent for $9 and have 2 chaise lounges underneath. They cover you between the knees and ankles. MandyGirl Posted January 16, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2005 If you have been to NCL's private island - Great Stirrup Cay - they seem to be the same clamshells used there. Except when we cruised NCL the clamshells were free (first-come, first-serve) and when cruising HAL we reserved online for $9 (not free). With natural shade on HMC less than what it was prior to the hurricanes, it was well worth the $9. We were at HMC 11/2003 and 11/2004 and the hurricanes definitely made a difference with the natural shade.
