Bayside... Walgreens or similar?

We are flying into FLL and are staying at the Holiday Inn POM. we want to get by with just carry-on luggage and need to get a few things before the cruise.

 

Is there a drug store like a Walgreens around the hotel or walking distance?

There is a Walgreens about 3 blocks away. It is located at 1 southeast 3rd ave., miami. Walk out the Holiday Inn main lobby, turn right, go 2 or 3 blocks, turn right, and it is 1 block over on the left.

 

There is also a CVS at 150 Southeast 3rd Ave., Miami. It is just around the corner from Walgreens, but can't remember exactly. You can mapquest them. Very easy walk.

 

What we have done is take a carry on with wheels with us, buy our cokes, water, and whatever, and throw it in the suitcase, and wheel it back to the hotel. Works great!

There is a brand new CVS 2 min. away. Turn right when you leave the hotel and it is on that street (Biscayne Blvd.) a block down. No more need to walk to the Walgreens on Flagler.

EandJ is right. Walgreens is on the corner of Flagler and one block west of Biscayne. CVS is two corners south of the HI-POM on Biscayne.

 

BTW, CVS has wine and beer, Walgreens didn't. Although Walgreens was remodeling last time I was there.
