Is Trunk Bay Slowly Dying...?

During our last visit to Trunk Bay, the coral seemed to be turning white, which I know means its dying. Are there just too many tourist or is there just too many dumb tourist who touch, stand on, kick with flippers....etc and end up killing it. I for one, do not wear flippers when I snorkel just for this reason. People - please look but dont touch, we want to preserve these beautiful reefs for all to see.

Anyone who dives or snorkels alot knows this as " Tourist Touch "

Have seen so many people stand, touch, yank, poke, scratch and/or scrape the reef it's ridiculous. These are very sensative organisms and will die from any of these.

Of course there are other reasons the reefs of the world are dying. Water warming up, too much runoff with chemicals in it, and other predators killing them because they are actually benefitting from some of the above conditions.

It's sad.
