Puerto Quetzal on your own?

Recommended Posts

We will be in Puerto Quetzal on 1-24-10, and looking at the ship's excursions, if you don't want to go to Antigua or a coffee plantation you are out of luck. Does anyone have any suggestions of other activities to do there, especially anything closer to the port? Thanks in advance.

If you do a bit of a search you will find a thead in this forum that may interest you. But other that a market at the peir i am not sure how much walking around I would want to do. If you have not been to Antigua, it and the countryside is something that should not be missed...it was one of our faves.
