Navigator of the seas balcony rooms

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

I have never been on a cruise before and I am planning a romantic cruise with my girlfriend for spring break this year. We are going to Cozumel and Belize on the Navigator of the Seas. I really want to get a balcony room but I would love to get one that has an un-obstructive view, like from lifeboats, ect. There are very few balcony rooms left on the cruise and I was hoping that someone would could help me out picking a room who has been on the boat before. I want this to be perfect for her and I! There are rooms left on decks six, seven, eight, and ten. Another question I have is it better to stay near the front or back of the boat, or in the middle where it kind of bows out?

I really appreciate anyones help / input! Thank you so much!!

Get a hump room if you can - and it should say if your booking on line what rooms have obstructed views - its in small print under your choice of cabins - if you use a travel agent make sure you ask them - going to check the March break prices so if I find out anything - I'll be back and let you know:)

thank you so much for your reply! I have no idea what I am doing haha! Is the hump room the ones that looked bowed out on the deck plans? The cruise we are going on is March 8th 5 day western Caribbean.

I appreciate your help so much!

If you can get a cabin on the hump, preferably near the center, that gives the best view and is more private. It's best to have a cabin between 2 floors of cabins, not over/under the dining room, show room, clubs, etc. Don't be afraid of being near the elevators, they are great locations, very convenient. If you will tell us what cabins you have to choose from, we could be of more help.

I see 7318 is open, grab it! Great location, and it's under a row of cabins. I will see what is under it. Another deck of cabins directly below, so not a lot of noise and wonderful views. I would take that cabin in a heartbeat. We love the center hump cabins.

I was in 8620, just a few weeks ago, Deck Eight is very good deck with good access to everything, we called RCCL direct and the rep had the room available although it doesn't show up on the website. RCCL reps have access to more rooms and will give you good information about the views

Is your cruise on the 8th of March - if so take the one mentioned below or 8314-8316-8614 and 8616 are available and are E1 class - the D class balconys are a little bigger - but these are great locations - take the hump room (bowed out)

This won't help the OP since selection has dwindled, but are some hump rooms better than others?

If you had to choose between 7612, 7614, 7616 or 7618 which would you pick and why?

I would pick 7618, center of the hump. Great views forward and aft, easy to see straight down to the ocean without lifeboats in the way, near the elevators and stairs, and very private. No one can easily see into the balcony other than the person in the next cabin. No wind from being on the front of the hump. We have been in cabins in this location before and pick it when we can.

We were just in 8320 - across the hall from the cabin you were in.....you are absolutely right - BEST location - in the middle of everything - easy to walk up or down, elevators posed no noise problems, dining rooms and pool deck/windjammer really easy access - casino too!! Would take this cabin, or any on the 'hump' again in a heartbeat....
