MikeandAmy Posted January 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2010 I understand you have to tender when you arrive at the island. Does anyone know what the max winds are that will keep you from being able to get to shore? I know weird question...
Capt_BJ Posted January 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2010 it is equally dependant on the direction and more importantly the direction of the sea swell . . . if things are out of the west or the south it is gonna be sloppy in the standard anchorage If out of the west they can handle a couple of ships out of Spott's which being on the east side can catch a "lee" from a westerly. If the crud is out of the south tho, Spotts is just as bad as Georgetown . . .
