Back to Back with 2 different agencies

Recommended Posts

We booked a back to back using a different travel agency for each week. (in order to save over $500 per couple - neither could price match). Does anyone know if we will have to leave the ship and re-enter? The lady at C&A said we may have to do this as she could not "link" our two weeks together in her system ?? Last year we did a back to back on Hal and did not have to leave the ship, but we had booked with the same agency for both weeks.Anyone ever done this before???....thanks

We have done several b2b's but always with the same TA. My guess is that it would not really matter anyway. RCL seems to do their b2b's differently with two booking numbers. HAL gave us one booking number for both cruise segments. You will most likely have to go through the check in process between cruises. Not to worry, they make it quite painless. You will not have to pack just take your credit card, ID and cruise documents. There is usually a cruiseline rep from the pursers office to escort you through the process.

Others may have had different experiences but this is how it has been for us in the past.

Is the same cabin booked for both weeks?

You wont have to pack,(unless you have to move to another cabin) (and the cabin stewards will help you move your stuff)

But you will meet up at the pursers desk where they lead you off the ship and get your right back on without waiting in any lines. You will be doing this to clear the ship using the old sign and sail card. You will need to get new sign and sail cards. If your dining assignment stays the same you may not be getting the same people as they rotate.
