Worth it to hire a taxi to Monterrico? Or fly fish??

Hi all-

 

We're travelling on the Island Princess and have a stop in Puerto Quetzal. The Ships tours are really expensive and we were looking to a beach day in Monterrico. Has anyone hired a taxi to do this??

 

I also found an outfitter online called the Great Sailfishing Company who, very briefly, mentions fly fishing. Since they don't have an email address I was wondering if anyone had info on fly fishing there before I spend the $45 to call them??

 

Advise is always appreciated!
