cruisingrus Posted January 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2010 We are a family of 4 and are looking for a 4 star hotel that can accommodate us in one room. We want to be in a good and centrally located area of Athens. Appreciate any recommendations.
Moonglow Posted January 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2010 Last year we stayed at the Electra Palace Hotel and loved it. It is beautiful, has a great included breakfast, and is in the Plaka in a very convenient location. Their web site is http://www.electrapalace.athenshotel.it Carol
whale-watcher Posted January 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2010 We are also a family group of four, and stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath family suite (composed of connecting rooms but with a single entrance) at the Athens Gate...wonderful location, great view from our room and from the rooftop restaurant. http://www.athensgate.gr
Rare TLCOhio Posted January 14, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2010 We are a family of 4 and are looking for a 4 star hotel that can accommodate us in one room. We want to be in a good and centrally located area of Athens. Appreciate any recommendations. We stayed in the AVA hotel that is right near the Plaka, the Acropolis and other charming, historic areas. Check its website at: http://www.avahotel.gr They have a number of larger suites and apartment options, including some with balconies. TripAdvisor gives them top marks and we were extremely pleased about its quality, location, value, nice size, etc. Everything was very clean, well-managed and friendly. THANKS! Enjoy! Lots of fun, food and shopping there:
