Liberty Of Seas Disembarkation Times In Miami

Hi. We are looking to arrive in Miami on the 2nd May on the Liberty Of The Seas and the ship docks at 6am. I am wondering how long it would be to disembark . what time would RCCL start letting passengers off and what do people think would be the earliest I should set a flight to return to LAX? I am flying from Fort Lauderdale (Not Miami) and so there would be a transfer time as well. I was thinking maybe 10.30 am? or earlier?

I would go for something later than 10:30 -- like at least noon. Getting to Ft. Lauderdale will take at least 40 minutes of driving time, plus the check-in and security at the airport.

If the ship is scheduled to dock at 6am, it will be at least 7 or 8 before anyone can get off the ship. And that is only if everything goes smoothly and on schedule.

You will probably hear from others who say it is possible, but I wouldn't risk it.

Yikes....given all the increased security at the airport, I wouldn't book until early afternoon. Why be all stressed out in the morning?

We disembark from the Jewel on 2/22 and our flight leaves MIA at 1:30. I would not book out of FLL until sometime in the afternoon either.

You take a huge risk booking a flight that early especially because of where your home is.
