Anyone snorkel from Nachi Cocum in Cozumel

Has anyone snorkeled from Nachi Cocum in Cozumel? We have not booked the snorkel trip and I'm wondering if we can just walk down to a snorkel shop and book it ourselves once we get there (and prob save some money) does anyone know of a dive shop within walking distance?

I dove from Nachi, but I booked with them in advance. The dive shop I went with was at the Occidental Allegro Hotel, a five minute walk down the beach. Here is the link to their shop, http://divepalancar.com/cozumel_snorkel.php. Maybe you could contact them directly for info. Hope this helps.

Just returned from Cozumel. Walk in, off the shore snorkeling at Money Bar, just a few minutes from cruise terminal by taxi (about $7 each way). Rent mask, fins and snorkel for about $14

How was the snorkeling? Read some recent posts that it wasn't very good. What's your opinion?
