Columbia

Columbia is a totally new for us ( Cartagena and Santa Marta ) We are beach people who like to snorkel, do snorkel tours, local fun type stuff ( like stingray city in grand cayman ) Can you recommend some tours or tour companies we can use or should we stay with the ships excursions. Is Columbia safe....I have to addmit, when I was younger and would hear Columbia, I would think of drugs and crime....please help !

You have to be aware of your surroundings but we never felt threatened in either of those ports. we are on the same cruise as you and we can talk more in the roll call forum. Regards, Lee
