we are cruising in feb , it seems like the zipline and horseback riding is far from the ship and is 1 1/2 bus ride is that true or is there somewhere closer? Also our other option was going to the beach, is it safe to go to a public beach , if so is there one close by or should we get a day pass at a resort if available? ( we are a group of 12 all adults ) any suggestions would be appreciated. we are there from 7 am to 3:30 pm

thanks

There is a new ATV about 30 mins east from the cruise ship piers in Campo Rico. There are ziplines (though I think small ... but the longest on the island ... haven't done them yet) at the same place.

There are ziplines in La Marquesa forest, about 30 mins south of San Juan.

Google for more info.
