Shore Excursions in the Caribbean

Hello- has anyone any experience of the shore excursions that Azamara offer for the Caribbean? we are booked on the Caribbean trip on the 20th March on the Journey and would be interested to hear views from those who have previously done any shore excursions. When we sailed Cunard my partner and I tended to get off the ship and do our own thing but could be persuaded for a great itinerary!

We're on the 2/12/10 caribbean cruise. We checked out the shore excursion offerings, and were not impressed. We decided not to do any of the ship's excursions. We are doing private tours or renting a car and touring the islands on our own.
