crzrr Posted January 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2010 We were in a 1A on the Quest and a Sky Suite on the Journey and the partitions did not open between balconies.
Andy Posted January 14, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Do the balcony partitions on Journey open, in order to share balcony space with friends in the next cabin? Hi Karynanne ! The answer is, they can be opened (according to older posts) though some have reported having difficulties getting it done. Hopefully, your Stateroom Attendant will know how to take care of it for you. Enjoy your Cruise !

Andy Posted January 14, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Thanks Andy for the information. I'll ask about it when we board next month. Hi Karynanne ! I hope it works out for you. As Crzrr just mentioned, there is conflicting information about this. Please let us know if it works for you, so I can put it in my notes.
lkmamom Posted January 14, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Host Andy, do not want to get too off topic (though I was curious about the balconies as well, thank you for the question :)). I just want to say, i have been on cruise critic for many years now, and you are the best host! I love how you always try to find answers to questions if noone else knows. Actually, everyone is very helpful on the Azamara boards. It is so refreshing, especially when you are new to a cruiseline. Thank you! Linda PS and I am VERY excited about my first Azamara cruise this May!!
Redtravel Posted January 14, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Keep your curtains closed and door locked. The balcony partitions open. Imagine my shock when I found workmen painting on my balcony...they entered by way of the next cabin.
