My wife and I cruised on the Spirit out of NOLA last May and had a wonderful time. I realize that on board food always has a personal perspective. We chose to eat in the MDR most meals, we enjoy the linens, escorted to a table for two and having the wait staff bring us made to order food and refills on drinks. I don't see the attraction of the buffet. Our meals were always served hot, fresh and adequate portion size.

We dined at Emeril's in NOLA the night before cruising. There were a couple exceptions but at most meals the service on board (how we were treated) was equal to the service we recieved at Emeril's. It was that good.
