Is Maho Beach worth passing up Orient Beach

I'll agree about watching the planes land being the highlight of my whole cruise. I didn't think I'd be able to see the KLM 747 land, but my cab to take me back to the ship was late, so I did get to see it afterall. Truly spectacular. I was amazed at the number of people there specifically to watch the planes. Becoming pretty popular.

 

Another good website to see still pictures is www.airliners.net. They have a "most popular" section. Click on "of all time" and there will be some pics in there. Admittedly, though, video is much better!

 

To the OP, I would not miss watching the planes land. Even if you never do it again, it's something a lot of people only dream of doing.

We can't wait to see the planes land. My DH told me about it and we are trying to find the best way to get there and nack to the ship! We are looking into Benard Tours but not sure how much the private tours are.
