Bringing own coffee?

So, I hear the coffee makers are remaining in the balcony and above cabins. I like my coffee and I while not an outright coffee snob I do prefer the good stuff and lots of it. Can anyone tell me what type of coffee makers they are? If they are the new fangled single cup makers then I won't bother bringing my own coffee.

But if they are the typical kind that take a filter then I'd like to bring a few extra filters and coffee instead of being at the mercy of housekeeping and/or room service. So, I am wondering if I bring filters what size should they be and how many cups of water do the makers hold. (this would be on Jewel)

They are 4 cup drip coffee makers. We grind our own beans and like to bring baggies of our own coffee along as well. However, this next reip we do not have a balcony cabin..so perhaps will no longer have access to a coffee maker...We plan to ask for one anyway, though.

Even if they are those little one cup coffee makers, you can still bring your own coffee. Just make a filter out of paper towels. But, it does not sound like they have gone to those. Many, many hotels have made the move though. In fact, we have purchased one for our travels as some hotels do not have them, especially casinos as they want you to go downstairs to get coffee - smart move on their part.

At times I have brought Dunkin Donuts French vanilla/hazelnut coffee with us on the cruise and I can tell you the smell drifts all over the halls. Lately we do not bring it because of the one cup type of machine in the rooms.
