gquest Posted January 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2005 Hello, I booked a OVG room on the Carnival Valor and found out my room using the book modify method. My room is 2478 in the very back of the ship. Are there going to be a lot of vibrations? Has anyone ever had this room or one similar to it on the Valor? I am 49 days away from departure. Should I try to assign a room at this point?
tntcruise Posted January 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2005 What is the book modify method? How do you do it?
serene56 Posted January 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2005 Sorry- you could only make changes up til final payment. Any changes may cost you. You booked a gauarantee- and will stay in gauarantee status up til sailing. Thats the chance of a gaurantee. I have sailed aft a few times and didnt feel any more motion. tntcruise Posted January 30, 2005 #7 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Yes, my carnival booking is listed on the home page. Is this the correct link: http://www.carnival.com/BookModify.aspx I'm not sure what you mean by using the links instead of the browser.
tntcruise Posted January 30, 2005 #8 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Never mind, I was finally able to get to the modify booking page. If still shows GUAR. I'll keep trying. Thanks again for all of your advice.
serene56 Posted January 30, 2005 #9 Share Posted January 30, 2005 I actually am following the modify since AUgust. Very intrigued on how it works. Did you book AFTER final payment or is your sailing on a holiday week? (easter? Springbreak?
tntcruise Posted January 30, 2005 #10 Share Posted January 30, 2005 I booked about 4 months before final payment was due. It is Spring Break week with Easter falling on the last day of our cruise. I've been checking availability and I have been surprised to see that there seems to be lots of cabins available. Does the modify booking area usually say the same thing as the funpass gift purchase area? Or can one have a cabin # and one still say guar?
