I guess it pretty much depends what type of food you like...

 

Steve and I like the Italian (great Calamari and made to order pizzas), and Tex Mex, Tequilas for their BBQ ribs.....both of these have a $10 PP charge which is quite reasonable.

 

Cagney's is great for Steaks, at $25PP.

 

Le Bistro has french food, and is also $25PP on the GEM...with a new menu I haven't tried yet.

 

With 10 days on the ship, why not try them all....:D

I always go to Le Bistro, Cagney's and Teppanyaki. Lately, I've also been dining in the Asian and Tex-Mex restaurants. Last on my list is the Italian. For me, the number and diversity of the cuisines offered are great. To me, they are well worth the nominal cost.

I enjoyed the texmex, ribs were good & the dessert in a pastry with chocolate syrup & almonds is awsum

I also enjoyed Cagneys, steak & fries were good

We were on the Gem in November. Enjoyed the Tex-Mex, and the Italian. We had tried the Italian on other NCL ships, and didn't like them. But, on the Gem it was a different menu, and good service. We also found Cagney's overated.
