not real boring but not crazy crowded either....just curious which pool people tended to hang out in

On the inaugural, the beach pool seemed to be the most crowded. When there were activities going on, (belly flop contest, water polo etc. ) then obviously the sports pool drew a crowd; other times it was pretty quiet, as was the "regular" pool. Family/kids pool, well, 'nuff said. And Solarium pool of course is very quiet.

Is it true that kids are allowed in the cantilevered whirlpool? In another post, it says they are over run by children. I was very dissappointed by this. These whirlpools are technically in the Solarium which is an adult only area. Are there signs saying Adult Only and it is just disregarded or have they changed the rules for this ship?

Yes - for some reason, kids are allowed in the cantilevered hot tubs. After enjoying the "adults only" versions on the freedom class, we were surprised to see kids in them on Oasis. We checked the signs posted at the hot tubs, though, and no where does it say adults only.

Pretty dissappointing. There are several hot tubs scattered throughout the outdoor pools areas that kids can use. To make it worse, one of the adult only Solarium hot tubs seemed to be out of order quite a lot (the pool staff says they are having problems with the "no touch" controls on them. That left one adults only hot tub on the entire ship.
