Grand Turk: Captain Explorer Out Island Expedition & Snorkel

Hi all,

 

I will be in Grand Turk in April aboard the Emerald Princess. I'm considering this shore excursion, but can't seem to find any reviews. Has anyone tried it? Any feedback would be appreciated.

TubaSteve, I just got back from that trip with my family, and the Captain Explorer was fantastic. I felt sorry for the people who just hung out on the beach. Our boat was really fast and fun, like a roller coaster. The captain made a point of giving us a thrilling ride. I recommend it also for the great snorkeling. I have never been on the beach of an uninhabited island before, and this was just amazing. I loved swimming to the island from the boat. It's not a long swim, but it is fun. You should only drink the rum punch AFTER you swim! The short hike is interesting -- buy one of those waterproof cameras to take great shots on this trip. Have fun!
