Morning Fellow Cruisers - if we bring a radio/alarm clock onboard will we be able to pick up any stations? I awake to music in the morning rather than the shrill sound of the alarm. Thanks.;)

I recently brought mine on the Jewel and couldn't pick up any stations.

Doubful given strength of signals and distances, but also may depend on what type of cabin (that's a lot of interference in an inside cabin).

My Aunt had her radio along with her (she always travels with it, it was not taken for the cruise) and it got no reception at all.

Depending on your cabin and where you are you should be able to pick up some stations but don't expect anything in the middle of the Caribbean or Gulf! When in port if you have a balcony is best. Nothing usually from an inside. Spotty with a oceanview. I've had my clock radio on every cruise for the last 5 years.

We use the cabins phone for wake up calls, easy to program your own wake up time. One ring and I answer, I don't find it annoying.
