Yes, it means no Retreat pool for the Zaandam (or the Volendam or Amsterdam). They already have their pool on Lido Deck, so there is no reason to take it out.

Had some more e-mail and Zaandam is now in warmer weather and the seas have calmed. They will be in Hilo tomorrow. :)

It looks like the Pacific is calming down in many spots.

The bridge cam for QV shows a beautiful, sunny day on the way to San Francisco. (And last nights cam view was stunning ... full moon on the water, and not a ripple in sight! :) )

How remarkable is it that we can click on a website and see a ship at sea and the moon light shining down on the water? Makes me shake my head in wonder. :) The sight you describe sounds glorious.
