Prepaid Gratuities and/or SB credit

We are considering booking our first river cruise. Are pre-paid gratuities or shipboard credits ever offered by TA on river cruises?

Tauck includes gratuities to ship and tour staff in their rate, as well as all tours, and wine/beer etc.with dinner. They are a bit pricey at first glance, but it will be wonderful to have everything basically taken care of in advance. Don't know of any shipboard credits offered. Also, no extra port taxes that the ocean going lines always tack on at booking!

I've yet to run across river cruises that offer shipboard credits. These usually come out of your travel agent's commission.
