1 day at Freeport & want to snorkel.

My Mom and I will have one day in Freeport on a carnival cruise. I want to snorkel, but do not want to do an excursion as I want to go somewhere with a nice beach that my mom could relax. Suggestions??

absolutely go to "Our Lucaya" beach resorts. For $20.00 p/person you could use the resorts beaches/pools and your Mom could sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. Freeport was our favorite Island on our recent cruise. Very friendly people there. Theres also shopping directly across the street from the resorts if your Mom wants to shop. Very safe area also..

I have pictures from that entire area if that will help you. If so shoot me an email and I'll send some for you to see before getting there.

 

PS... We only had 1/2 day at freeport and wished for much more time there.

Could you snorkel at "Our Lucaya" beach resorts??

no snorkeling right from the beach.. however there are snorkel tours that leave from across the street... in fact there was one that picked you right up at the beach at our lucaya.. not sure if they are still there...
