snorkelman Posted July 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2010 Is this still the case? I also heard something about you can only go on the zip-line one time per sailing. I am hoping that this is nonsense, and I expect that it is like the flowrider...go as often as you like, but I am confused because the flow-ride does not require reservations except for lessons, and the zip-line does seem to require reservations. Thanks in advance for any clarification.
swwake Posted July 7, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2010 They no longer require reservations, and you can go as many times as you'd like.
BrianAlt Posted July 7, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2010 Supposedly there is some kind of award if you go 100 times.
Rare steamboats Posted July 7, 2010 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2010 No more reservations required. First come, first serve! Do it during the first days of your cruise. Lines are getting longer towards the end. steamboats
bluegirlum Posted July 7, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 7, 2010 No reservations as of my cruise in May. Too many people apparently complained about having to make reservations, so it's now first come, first served.

swwake Posted July 8, 2010 #10 Share Posted July 8, 2010 How was the zip line, did you go fast.It was fun and pretty fast. I have done the one in Jamaica before. Those are longer and most of them are slower. The hand grip is also different. The one on Oasis is more like a trolley. Warning - I did it on Day 7, after a week of riding the FlowRider. My abs were already really sore, and it was very hard and painful to hold my legs up in the crunch position for the short duration. So do the zip line early in your trip, or don't do anything else that would cause your abs to be sore :)
