Atlantis

It depends on what you mean by best.

A regular taxi is probably the most convenient. It cost $4 a person and will drop you off at the main entrance to the hotel.

The water taxi is more interesting. It costs $3 a person and you'll get to see the pretty mansions on Paradise Island and hear some commentary from a tour guide (if you sit close enough to hear). The disadvantage is that it leaves every half hour and drops you off at the pier. You'll need to walk across the street and through Marina Village to get to Atlantis. It also stops running at night.

We took the water taxi there and a regular taxi back. We didn't buy the round-trip ticket so we could keep our options open.

Definately the water taxis. It's very scenic and informative and well worth the couple of bucks. I don't know what your scheduled port times are, but keep in mind the last water taxi leaves paradise island @ 5 or 5:30. You can always catch a regular taxi back from atlantis. so, if you know you won't be ready to go before the last water taxi, just buy the one way.

ooops forgot..lol. Go inside the Festival building(very large building can't miss it. 2 blocks from ship) Trust me, they find you for the taxis..land or sea. They stop everybody trying to give them rides. on the water taxi i usually give them a buck or two for the entertainment they provide on the way over..they're funny and make great tour guides on the ride over teliing you about everything you're riding by.

Yes, you can't miss it. There was a man holding up a sign that said Water Taxi. Just follow him. :)

We were in the very back of the taxi so we couldn't hear anything the tour guide said. Next time, we'll try to sit up front.

Also, there was a woman on the taxi selling bottled water for $1. Buy it! Seriously! Once you get to Atlantis, bottled water will cost you $5 (for a small bottle) and there are no water fountains.

Have fun in Nassau!
