4X4 Safari in Samana Dominican

we'll be in Samana and want to take the 4X4 tour. has anyone done this? My concern is

my brother had back surgery in Sept. and it says anyone with back problems should avoid it.

It is really that bumpy and rough riding?

we did a 4 X 4 when in DR - and it is rough..... if you have back issues, don't do ti! so not worth it..... the folks there are there for fun etc... not a smooth gentle scenic ride.....

Check the Ports of Call board for information on Samana excursions. You should find a few folks there who have done this.
