We stayed at La Quinta which we booked through Priceline for approx. $65 a night. Free breakfast in the morning, free shuttle from the hotel to the cruise pier, and they allowed us to leave our car in their parking lot for the duration of the cruise without charge. We were very pleased with the hotel and its rooms and there is a mall a short distance away with restaurants, shops etc.:)

For those people that collect/use Marriott rewards, there is a new Fairfiled Inn that just opened between the Airport and the Cruise Port (Dania, FL) that has this service. I will be staying there on April 2nd. They do charge $8 pp for the shuttle to the Cruise Port. Free breakfast is included.
