Nassau Dolphin Encounter time conflict

The Dolphin Encounter on Nassau shows as 3:00 - 7:45pm. The itinerary shows the ship leaving port at 7:00pm. What will happen? Any need to worry?

Also, we are on the early seating of dinner and will miss it due to the excursion. Can we show up to the MDR at the late seating that night, or can we use MTD for that night only? How do we sign up for just one night?

As long as you are on a ship´s excursion you don´t have any reason to worry.

As for dinner: On the Liberty we were told that up to 45 min they accept people coming late. Later the galley is closed and you are causing your waiter troubles as he has to get the food out of another galley at deck 5 (the MTD galley).

Hey, but the Oasis has 24 different dining options. So chose another one for this day!

Not entirely true, if you do the dophin encounter at Atlantis, through the ship, they will leave without you if you are not back on time. This is because you are responsible for getting back to the ship on your own. I specifically asked "Since I purchased this excursion through RC will you wait for me if I am not back on time."

At first they only said "That has never happened before" or "don't worry you have plenty of time to get back". Finally after some prodding the excursions desk said "no they will not wait for you even though you purchased through RC".

The excursion description says "Your catamaran will then return you to your ship." I hope that is okay. The whole reason we are spending the extra money to book through the ship instead of doing on our own is to avoid having to worry and rush on our vacation.

I'm not sure which date you're cruising on, but on our cruise date, that excursion shows that it begins at 3:00, and goes 3.5 to 4 hours. This means you would get back between 6:30 and 7:00 (my hunch being more around the 6:30 timeframe.)... I think you'll be fine since they will get you back to the ship, but that "30 minutes" to browse the souvenir shops will probably fall by the wayside - and I'm sure you'll be totally fine with that..... Have fun....
