Mazatlan tour

We will be arriving in Mazatlan on February 23 on the Diamond Princess. We emailed Mazatlan Frank for a tour (as we heard he is good)but he is booked for that day. He is recommending a friend of his to take us on a tour. We are 9 people. Has anyone used any guides that Frank recommended? If so, I would appreciate your comments

There is a "shopping village" at the end of the tram ride through the port. There is a stand that handles tours. We paid $20 each for the tour, but I'll bet you could get it for less, with such a group. I haven't looked them up on the web, but they might be there under Mazatlan. Nancy

I would stick with Frank's recommendation. I'm sure they will speak english and know where and what to see, depending on your interests. If you take one from the dock, you know even less about them.
