Margery Posted January 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2010 I will be docking in Monte Carlo on Monday, May 2. Thanks to many many of you. I think I have a great day planned. From Monte Carlo, I will take the train and get off at the second station that has the name Nice on it. 22 minute ride. In Nice I want to see The Castle Hill (Colline du Chateau), Promenade des Anglais and Cours Saleya. Any suggestions as to what would a good route be? I assume they are all walking distance? How much time should I allow? From Nice, local bus #82 from the bus station (Gare Routiere) to Eze. 15 minute ride. Go to the Le Jardin d'Eze. Bus number #112 from Eze to MC. 20-30 minute ride. Bus from MC to the Pier - 5 minutes. We are foodies - so we will definitely be stopping along the way to eat! Any criticisms or suggestions? Thanks so much! BigGuy25 Posted January 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2010 The length of the rides seem correct. Just make sure you are at the stop in plenty of time to catch the bus. They aren't always the most reliable about running "on time!"
San Diego Ellie Posted February 10, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2010 How far is the train station from the port, and how do you get there? We will also be in Monte Carlo for a day in May (different day though), and I would like to go to Nice.
