cash on board

I am not sure the best way to get cash on board. We have in the past cashed travellers cheques on borard at no charge... is this the same on Azamara...

You can cash Traveler's Checks or use ATM's when you are ashore. You will have bank fees at the ATM's and fees from your bank, but it is difficult cashing traveler's checks at the various ports

I e-mailed Azamara about this and they assured me they will cash travellers cheques (in any denomination up to $500). Of course I purchase travellers cheques in US funds, as that is the currency used on board. Whether there is a charge I'm not sure, although I assume not, as there was no charge on Celebrity, of which Azamara was (and is?) a part.

We cashed a $100 travellers cheque in the casino on board Journey in December, and there was no charge to do this.
