Aqua Theater Pool

Is the aqua theater pool open for guests to swim in it? I thought I had heard it was going to be at certain times and that'd be a sweet pool to swim in.

It wasn't on our cruise. They were using it for rehersals and also with all of the expensive equipment that the pool has, I don't see them allowing guests to use it.

Early on they sure did say this was going to double as a guest pool in the daytime....HOWEVER I haven't see that happen and don't think that it will.

Wasn't open for guest on the 1-9 cruise...

Just watched the Oasis video on RCI web site yesterday, and they talk about guests using it as a pool during the day. From all who have posted here it's not an option.

No, they run ropes across the isles so that no one can use the chairs or walk on the pool (which they keep the floor up on unless being used).

I heard from my crew friends on board the Aqua Theater pool had problems again and some shows were cancelled. I would think until they work out the problems with the heavy machinery, they would be wise to keep passengers out of the pool.

I am a distance swimmer and would have loved to use that pool, but it was NOT open for guests on 1/23 cruise. I had to swim in the ocean, drat!! ;-)

 

However, the chairs at the Aqua Theatre were frequently used to watch sports programs, movies, etc. At times, many people were just sitting in the chairs relaxing. It's a fun area to hang out! Depending on the angle of the sun, it was not always "full sun" and there were areas where it was shaded all day.
