forward cabins on Millenium

Has anyone ever stayed in the first cabin(8011)? I have booked this balcony room for alaska cruise and worried about an obstructed view as you look toward the front of the ship because of the configuration of the ship- I think a suite is located there and it sorta extends further out to the side.

We were in cabin 7018 on the Millennium in late Aug/early Sept. Yes these cabins are obstructed. The cruise line says that they are not but if you try to look forward, you have a bean in the way. If you look straight out, you are ok. I would not want that cabin again in a warm place but it did come in handy in Alaska. The obstructions blocked the wind and rain, so we kind of enjoyed the cabin. Before we left for our cruise, I asked the same question as you (twice) and never got a response. I am glad I could answer you.
