Just got a newsletter from MSC UK about an Onboard Credit promo saying that for cruises booked before the end of this month you get

£200 pp OBC for an inside

cabin

£300 pp OBC with oceanview

£400pp OBC for balcony cabins

£500pp OBC for suites

 

Just thought I'd let you know, in case there is anyone from the UK been swithering about booking a MSC cruise.

Nothing like that offered in US, everything seems relative, whether our base prices are the same as yours or are they offering discounts in a different manner. Thank you for the info, at least we can ask.

I get the impression that our base price is higher over here but it is hard to judge as the prices quoted by UK TAs and on MSC's sUK site tend to be fly/cruise packages, so it makes making atrue comparison hard to judge and then there is the currency conversion to add to the dilemma. I know a few UK passengers who book through US TAs for European cruise because they say they have saved money doing so. Then again there is always a tendency to think the grass is always greener on the other side.....

The £1 offer (first passenger pays full price, second passenger pays a £1) is back for a limited time. Details on the MSC Website. We cruised using this offer last Oct and also have booked another cruise this Oct, using this offer. Can't beat this for value for money. If flying to join a cruise would suggest you make your own arrangements. Much cheaper (MSC charge over £200 per person) and because MSC block book to only a few destinations, you might find having to endure a somewhat long coach journey. Best check with your TA first before making a flight/cruise booking
