The bus is fine if you really want to save money but a taxi is much more convenient. The bus is only . 25 cents and leaves from the bus station which is kiddy corner and across the street from prier #4. Buses leave ever 20 minutes or so and makes lots of stops and the ride to Isle Verde takes about 40 mins. If money is tight then the bus will work but the taxi will be faster and more comfortable.

We spent two days before and three days after a cruise in San Juan (Carib Hilton) and used the bus every day.

We went back and forth into Old San Juan on it, took the ferry across to Catano and caught a bus to Bacardi, even took the bus out to Plaza Las Americas - the huge shopping center. That last route runs through Isle Verde.

It was convenient, comfortable, cheap (sounds like the 3 c's for buying a diamond) and we met some very friendly people.

One tip about the bus I forgot to mention, you need to hold your arm out or the bus will not stop. If your at a street bus stop and even if your making eye contact with the bus driver he or she will not stop unless you do that.
