We did back to back last month and while waiting to meet with the Princess Rep to do the turnaround,the last call was made.It was exactly 10:00.

Don't know about european cruises, but last two years at Christmas in the Caribbean, we left Sea princess at 4.30 pm!

Yes it is different, the ship would be sailing again at 5pm here in the US.

Even in San Juan when the ship sails at 11pm you still have to be off by 9:30 am or so.

Just did a B 2 B on the Emerald & got off 2-7. In between cruise 1 & cruise 2 we watched folks disembark. The last 4 passengers got off at 9:20. Shortly thereafter we heard them make announcement that "all were off the ship". In transit passengers can be taken off for card exchange.

One week later we were off the ship by 8:30 & there were only a handful of passengers left. It REALLY goes smoothly!
