Stockholm ? - Grinda, Sandhamm, Vaxholm

We will be in Stockholm three days prior to our Baltic cruise in July. I've read that you can take a boat trip to each of these towns. Is it worth spending a day going to one of these towns. Are any of these towns "quaint", "picturesque"?

 

Or would we be better just spending our time in Stockholm?

I didn't get a chance to get to any of the places you mentioned. Maybe one of the locals can help you.

 

Stockholm is such a magnificent city and our favorite port on our cruise. From the Vasa Museum, to the Royal Palace and the Changing of the Guard and then to the 'old town' Gamla Stan. It is truly a place I want to go bck to one day.
