only caught this show last week (was done in 2009) but not seen any ref to before (perhaps there has??)

 

interesting to see behind the scenes..all the 1000 odd cctv cameras filming the crew and passengers ..they need 104 percent occupancy to make a profit..how they split the revenue with the shore excursions..the food has to be presented as per a photo

It got a lot of play on here when it was new, and usually gets posted when they replay it, which is a lot. Interesting, but getting old.

Thank you scruffts2007 for the post. I missed the show the first time around and greatly appreciate the link that you provided. People sometimes do not post or check out the CC boards for time and posts such as yours are needed

You can also find the full version of this on Hulu.com. Its listed under CNBC Specials or something like that. So search under the C section of TV to hunt it down.

yes it was an interesting behind the scenes film

 

so much to running a ship and the costs, in all honesty I dont know how they make it pay with the capital cost of a ship and staffing levels
