startpacking Posted February 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2010 My ta has put cabin #2208 on hold for a 7 night cruise on the Carnival Victory. I would like to know if the location of the cabin is alright for a 7 night Caribbean cruise, it is the second cabin from the front on the port side. Any comments will be appeciated. Thanks. startpacking Posted February 11, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Yes, there isn't much available the cruise is almost full. This is the best available cabin for the sailing date I need. My travel dates are not flexible.
lindnet Posted February 14, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2010 I was in cabin #1207 on the Conquest about a month ago. I was pretty worried about noise, motion, etc. I had no issues at all. The only time I heard anything out of the ordinary was when they dropped anchor in Grand Cayman. It's only for a couple of minutes and sounds just like you would expect it to sound. I don't know what it would have been like if there had been rough seas. We had a pretty smooth trip. But other than it being a long walk to get anywhere, it was a great cabin. It even had 2 portholes. Hope this helps!
