What about Wifi?

I never thought I'd be asking but do the Seabourn ships have Wifi? I know you can pay for internet access. I remember it being terribly slow.

Yes. Speed depends on many factors, as it does with any cruise line/ship.

 

I always take my laptop, and always have a strong signal, although the speed varies due to conditions, bandwidth usage, etc.

I had very slow, almost nonexistent wifi on the Pride in 2008. I hope they have improved the service. I was "dropped" more than I was connected. Finally just got my money back from the purser.

The wifi in our cabin (121) has been reliable and pretty fast. It is also a lot cheaper than when were were on board Spirit in 2008.

 

The basic cost is 9.99 per hour, with other packages for heavy daily or weekly use.

 

This is under half the price we previously paid.

Just spoke to Seabourn and received the same prices. Although the agent sounded a bit unsure and mentioned that they change from time to time and you need to check when aboard.
