Star Mexico Rivera Boarding question

Hi Mike, we boarded about 11:30 or so, maybe 12. We went through security and sat in some chairs waiting for the windows to open up to check in. They passed out the Freestyle Daily and we had coffee and juice. It was nice.

The boarding desks open at 10:30 a.m.

As someone mentioned on one of the posts for the 12/23 sailing, we had to wait until around 2:00 p.m. due to INS problems. But that is not normal.

We arrived at the dock at about 10:00 a.m., and nothing was going on. They opened at around 10:30 and then we registered. BUT then, we had to wait for the INS stuff to get over with. Normally, we would have gone on board.

They appologized, and really...............what can you do? By the time we got to go aboard, EVERYONE, except for about 750 passengers who came later, was ready to go. But, it went very well. Very smooth. We went on board, got our room, and done.
