Vancouver Airport Departure, is 11:50 flight too early?

I am taking a pacific coastal cruise on NCL that ends in Vancouver and I need to take a flight back home and the only flight that still has decent rates departs at 11:50am. The documentation states that we should not schedule flights before 12 noon, it is only 10 minutes early. Is this a big difference? Should I be OK with this departure? Please let me know.. Vancouver airport can be a zoo.. depends on what day of week, traffic etc. If there are a lot of ships in or it's weekday you are cutting close, really close.. do they have USA Direct program on NCL? that cuts some luggage time.
