Can you call room to room with the phones in the stateroom on Carnival? Does it work just like a hotel phone?

Just curious, on our previos cruise we didn't use the phone but this time we're going with a pretty big group of people and it would help if we could call each other instead of going room to room.

Yes, you can call room to room. There'll be directions on the phone, or you can ask your steward.

Room to room (or any place on the ship) are free. Ship to shore calls are EXPENSIVE, but can be done if you are willing to pay the price.
