How long of a walk from Embassy suites on 17th in Fll

How long of a walk is it from the Embassy Suites on 17th street to the Emerald Princess?

If the ship is docked at pier 2, it would be about 7 blocks (my estimate), otherwise about 1.5 miles.

MS Streets and trips comes up with 1.2 miles. A long walk if you are considering walking with your luggage. Once you ender the pier road then it is also a matter of dodging traffic. We once disembarked thhe ship and walked to the Bimini boatyard just with our carryon bags. Then took a taxi to the airport.

It really depends how many Princess ships are docked that day. If there is only one Princess ship, they will use Dock 2, otherwise they share other Carnival owned docks. Dock 2 will be the shortest walk from the hotel. Taxi ride for one mile shouldn't be more than $10 for the car so use that as a backup plan if they aren't at Dock 2 or if it is raining out.

In January you couldn#t walk into the port for security reasons even if you had travel docks for that day. You had to arrive in a vehical.....
