Punta del Estes, Uruguay Excursions?

I am looking for information about HAL excursions in Punta del Estes. I have booked the "Sea Lion Colony" excursion, but am not sure that this is a good choice. Has anyone done this excursion? Is there another excursion in Punta del Estes that would be much better?

Hi --we just got back from an Infinity Around the Horn Cruise and we had a private guide in Punta del Este. We had a 4-5 hour tour of the whole area. It is a beautiful port--we finished with lunch at a sea side restaurant. A perfect day. Our guide was Hebert Sismondi.Email--hsis@adinet.com.uy. I don't remember the price but he was very reasonable. You don't need excursion in PDE. Easy walk to beach, shopping. Maybe a cab to Casapueblo.
